2003 Walking Path Workday
Maintaining the walking path will be an ongoing project. Luckily, there
are lots of folks on the lake who enjoy the path and are willing to work
together to keep it useable. On Saturday, July 19th, it took just over
an hour to clear fallen trees, widen a path through the field and add more
wooden "stepping stones" in the damp spots along the trail. Randy
Williams took charge of the crew who arrived armed with chain saws, loppers,
cutters of all kinds. Many thanks to John Urie, John Washburn &
grandsons, Linda Alderton, Glenn Barber, Judy & Skip Borrell, Betsy Day, Lorna and Don Kiley, Cedric and
Barbara Scribner, Ken Kaszubowski and other volunteers for keeping the trail open for all of us to use. |
